Kampong Cham

Kampong Cham draws a growing number of visitor thanks to it role as a gate way to the north-east. It is a land of picturesque villages, pretty pagodas and fishing communities. More a quiet town than bustling city; it is a peaceful provincial spread along the bank of Mekong river. It was an important trading post during the French period. This role has grown thanks to the first bridge that span the Mekong width, substantially reducing the journey time to popular destinations like Kratie and Mondulkiri. Tour around Wat Nokor, Phnom Pros, Phnom Srei and Wat Hanchey and trekking or cycling along the Mekong river to enjoy the fishing life local.
